Beginning in August 2006, The Boulder Outlook Hotel & Suites is hosting the Battle of the Corporate Bands.
We will open our stage every Friday Night to host the area's best Garage Bands whom, through the travails of life, have been forced to take a full time job to pay the bills, keep the kids in clothes, and pacify the spouse…but still know how to play. Gigs will be from 7:30-10PM every Friday. We will buy dinner & drinks for band members. Every month our distinguished judges will pick a best band of the month. Monthly winners will be invited back for a gig during the months of November & December at the end of which we will pick our grand prize winner and award them with a fabulous trophy, our undying praise, anther gig, and $500 cash money!
To apply you must have a full time job with a Colorado business in which you earn your real livelihood. No official corporate sponsorship is necessary, but we will bill your group by its name and mention your day time employer in all our promotional material. You should be prepared to "bring the house down" with your professionalism and musical talent. All genres of music are welcome. The Boulder Outlook Hotel is a family oriented full service hotel and all ages are welcome at your gig.
